No exchange programmes academic year 2020 – 2021
Educational exchange programmes within and outside Europe will not go ahead in the entire academic year 2020 - 2021. This applies to both incoming and outbound exchange students. The decision does not apply to international students who are commencing or continuing an entire bachelor’s or master’s programme.
Students from partner universities
Are you studying at one of Leiden University’s partner universities? If so, you can apply to study abroad with us via a reciprocal agreement. To do so, you must first be nominated by your home university. There are two basic types of reciprocal agreement. Your home university can tell you which one applies to you.
- Exchange agreement
No additional tuition fees apply. You will continue paying tuition fees to you home university.
- Study abroad agreement
Additional tuition fees apply. Your home university coordinator can provide full details.
