Robert Zwijnenberg is professor Art and Science Interactions at Leiden University. Trained in civil engineering and philosophy, in his research and teaching he uses contemporary art to shed light on the ethical implications of biotechnological innovations. He's also a part of networks with medici, to give them a philosophical perspective on the ethical issues they come up against.
