The first chapter introduces the field of electrochemistry and CO2RR specifically. The following chapters show the effect of pressure at ambient pressure at various catalysts, namely gold, copper, silver, copper-silver alloy and nickel. Chapter 6 shows the development of a high-temperature high-pressure electrochemical cell, which is used in the last chapters to study the effect of temperature at elevated pressures.
