Bachelorscriptieprijzen Politieke Wetenschap 2025: de genomineerden
De afstudeerscriptie is hét ‘pièce de résistance’ in de opleidingen van het Instituut Politieke Wetenschap. Van de studenten wordt nog één keer het uiterste gevraagd. En ook hun begeleiders moeten vaak alle zeilen bijzetten. Maar als het werk eenmaal is gedaan, is het ook een terechte bron van trots—voor iedereen, ongeacht het eindcijfer-achter-de-komma. Maar, en dat mag ook gezegd, sommige onderzoeken springen eruit: die worden genomineerd een bachelorscriptieprijs. Op 17 oktober 2025 horen we wiens onderzoek extra wordt bekroond.
Prof. Dr. J.Th.J. van den Berg-prijs 2025 (beste scriptie Politicologie/Internationale Politiek): de shortlist
De jury, bestaande uit SPIL-afgevaardigde Ralph Otten (student-lid en voorzitter), Joop van den Berg, Femke Bakker en Marco Verschoor, buigt zich momenteel over de genomineerde scripties. De winnaar wordt bekend gemaakt bij de uitreiking van de bachelordiploma’s Politicologie en Internationale Politiek op vrijdagochtend 17 oktober 2025 in de Hooglandse Kerk (Leiden).

Juryleden Petr Kopecký, Rebecca Ploof, en Yuan Yi Zhu zien zich voor de moeilijke taak gesteld een winnaar aan te wijzen uit een sterk deelnemersveld. Deze wordt bekend gemaakt tijdens de uitreiking van de bachelordiploma’s van Political Science: International Relations and Organisations op vrijdagmiddag 17 oktober 2025 in de Hooglandse Kerk (Leiden).
