Caroline Schep is PhD-kandidaat bij het Instituut voor Geschiedenis, waar ze werkt binnen Fenneke Sysling's ERC Starting Grant project COMET: Human Subject Research and Medical Ethics in Colonial Southeast Asia. Ze is geïnteresseerd in wetenschapsethiek, Zuidoost-Aziatische geschiedenis, medische geschiedenis, nationalisme, (koloniaal) erfgoed en restitutie.
