Carlos Bravo-Laguna is universitair docent aan de Universiteit Leiden. Daarnaast is hij associate editor van het tijdschrift Risk, Hazards, and Crisis in Public Policy en lid van het stuurgroepcomité van de ECPR Standing Group on Political Networks. Carlos heeft een PhD in Politieke en Sociale Wetenschappen van de Pompeu Fabra Universiteit. Zijn onderzoek richt zich op relationele dynamieken in grensoverschrijdend crisismanagement. Andere onderzoeksinteresses zijn de coördinatie van transnationale regelgevende netwerken en de studie van regulerende toezichtmechanismen. Zijn onderzoek is gepubliceerd in verschillende toonaangevende wetenschappelijke tijdschriften, waaronder Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of Public Policy en Governance.
