Arindrajit Basu is extern promovendus aan de Faculteit Global Governance and Affairs van de Universiteit Leiden en werkt aan de betrokkenheid van mondiale “swing states” bij de internationale orde in cyberspace. Hij werkt ook als consultant digitalisering en mensenrechten bij het ontwikkelingsprogramma van de Verenigde Naties.
