S. Voskamp has been appointed by the Institute for Civil Law since September 2011 as a junior lecturer, since july 2012 as a Phd-Fellow.
Stijn Voskamp (1989) studied law at Leiden University (2007 – 2011). After finishing her Master in Civil Law she started working as a junior lecturer in civil law at Leiden University in September 2011.
In July 2012 she started working on a PhD thesis on education law. It focuses on the legal relationship between student and parents on the one hand, and school on the other. The question is whether this relationship is contractual, and how different legal regulatory systems and the legal relationship interact. The education agreement receives much attention in legal literature, but is private law suited to handling relations in education? Do we need to regulate education agreements in Book 7 of the Civil Code?
Furthermore Stijn is a lecturer in different courses, she is also a supervisor of bachelor and master theses.
