Voskamp (1989) studied law at Leiden University between 2007 and 2011. After completing her master's in Civil Law, she started working as a Junior Lecturer in Civil Law at Leiden Law School's Institute of Private Law. From 2012 onwards, she worked at this institute as a PhD candidate researching education law and civil law. Voskamp defended her PhD thesis on the educational agreement and obtained her PhD in 2018. For her thesis, Voskamp researches the educational relationship between pupils, parents and schools from a contractual point of view. Several contractual doctrines are applied to this legal educational relationship (such as the formation, determination of the content and the termination of a contract) while factoring in the public law regulation in educational laws. Topics at the interface of education law and civil law play a role in Voskamp’s current position as Assistant Professor.
Voskamp teaches various courses in Private Law that are part of the bachelor's degree in Law and master's degree in Civil Law. She also supervises bachelor's and master's theses.
