First, the research explores this retrospectively by screening known FDA approved drugs for the activation of various cellular stress responses. Next, the same strategy is applied on the same model using a new class of drugs, the kinase inhibitors. This is followed by a study on these kinase inhibitors using a human induced pluripotent stem cell derived cell types, to test whether these models are suitable in high-thoughput screening set-ups. Furthermore, the FAIRification of high-content imaging data is discussed and a metadata template is proposed.
