Armin Cuyvers, Stefaan Van den Bogaert and Veronika Yefremova taught in the course on EU History, Principles and Institutions. The online course was part of the 2025 Summer School on European law for Ukraine, organised by the Kyiv Institute for European Integration and Concordia University.

The course is intended for Ukrainian government lawyers and policymakers, practising lawyers, and law students who are working on issues of EU law. With great participation from Ukrainian participants, the course dealt with the history and foundational principles of the EU, from EU integration to the nature of EU law. The last lecture then zoomed in on the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement and Ukraine’s accession.
