Leiden participation in the ICON-S conference in Wroclaw
From 4-6 July, the annual conference of the International Society on Public Law (ICON-S) took place in Wroclaw, Poland. Its theme was 'Global Problems and Prospects in Public Law'. ICON-S brings together scholars of public law from across the globe and has over a thousand active members.
Jannemieke Ouwerkerk participated in a panel on public prosecutors in Europe with a paper on the independence of the Dutch Public Ministry.
Jorrit Rijpma was invited to participate in a plenary panel debate on the challenges of migration governance in times of crisis.
Esteban Szmulewicz gave a presentation entitled 'Participation, Decentralization and innovations in constitution-making: The case of Chile, on July 4th'.
