Election Event on Migration Policy
In connection with the approaching Dutch election, the Institute of Immigration Law of Leiden University will organise in collaboration with Amnesty International and JFV Grotius an election event on Wednesday 25 January 2017.
Representatives from the largest political parties will present their plans on migration briefly. Mr Nazarski, Director of Amnesty International in the Netherlands, will then open the debate by giving a short response. Professor P.R. Rodrigues will chair the debate. Students will then have the opportunity to ask questions and make comments.
The intention of the Institute of Immigration Law is to offer political parties the opportunity to inform the students, and to give students the opportunity to form an opinion about the migration policy of the parties and a possible future cabinet.
