Participation in research programmes

The Department of Jurisprudence participates - like other departments at Leiden Law School -  in several research programmes.

The research is conducted using a different methodology. The department puts less emphasis on describing the rules of law but more on the principles of law, the values behind the law, and asks if the law is right. It questions the law.
