Pre-master’s programme

The pre-master's is a bridging programme for students who have applied for the MA Philosophy 60 EC or 120 EC, but who, according to the Board of Admissions, still have deficiencies in philosophy.

The pre-master’s programme is intended for students with a Dutch academic Bachelor’s degree or comparable degree, who do not fulfil the entry requirements regarding the knowledge, understanding and skills in the field of philosophy. Depending on your educational background, the pre-master’s programme will constitute a course load of 60 EC (1 year) or less.

Language requirements

The language requirements for a pre-master's programme are identical to the language requirements for the master's programme for which admission has been requested. These requirements must be met before the start of the premaster.
