Pre-master’s programme

If you have one of the following backgrounds you can apply to the pre-master:

• If you have a bachelor’s degree from a university of applied science (HBO) in English (lower secondary education certificate, tweedegraads) or
• You have an academic bachelor’s degree from a research university, but you do not meet the entry requirements.

You will be admitted after completing the pre-master’s programme. This one-year programme is taught in English and contains 60EC.

Admission to the pre-master's programme

In order to apply for the pre-master's, you should follow the regular application procedure via Studielink. The Board of Admissions then decides whether you are directly admitted to the master's programme or only after the completion of a pre-master's. The Board of Admissions determines the content of the pre-master's based on the submitted documents.

Language requirements

The language requirements for a pre-master's programme are identical to the language requirements for the master's programme for which admission has been requested. These requirements must be met before the start of the premaster.
