Master Honours Education
Are you a curious and motivated master’s student? Leiden University's Honours Academy offers various kinds of extracurricular education, ranging from long-running programmes to short-term courses.
During this programme, you will have the opportunity to participate in a number of extracurricular activities that will enhance your studies, such as:
- The ICCL programme includes a two-day class study trip to Brussels where students visit the European Commission and the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, besides a visit to a top law firm operating at the heart of the EU.
- Throughout the year we also organise other excursions to the Dutch land registry office, the Port of Rotterdam Authority and the Peace Palace in The Hague where students have the opportunity to see how the ICCL field of law operates in practice.
- Students can apply to participate in the Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court, considered one of the most prestigious moot competitions in the world.
- Visits to major law firms in the Netherlands and workshops with business professionals also feature in the ICCL programme which strives to create a unique balance between advanced theory and practical application.
