Are you ready to take on an extra challenge during your Leiden Bachelor programme? With options like Honours College and the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts (ACPA) you can add extra depth, intensity and EC to your study.
Honours College
The Honours College offers extra education alongside your regular studies. Together with other curious students, you are being challenged to look beyond the borders of your own studies. You will be taught in small groups in which there is much room for personal attention, and you will get in contact with students from all kinds of disciplines. There is often room to do research or an internship. You will develop many skills and grow on both a personal and an academic level. Bachelor Honours Classes
Honours Classes are courses you can follow besides your Bachelor study. They are about complex scientific and social topics. You will learn new skills and work together with ca. 20 students from different disciplines and universities, including international students. Academy of Creative and Performing Arts (ACPA)
Interested in combining your Leiden Humanities Bachelor programme with courses in the fine arts? With the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts (ACPA) it’s possible! ACPA is a research institute, a collaboration that combines the strengths of Leiden University and the Royal Academy of Art The Hague. In addition to research, ACPA is an intersectional organisation that offers academic education for art students, arts education for students of Leiden University, and cultural events that bridge art and science.
