A discussion has been going on in Sweden about the environmental problems related to PVC. The discussion is mainly focused on the additives (e.g. phtalates and lead) but also on the emissions of chloromircopollutants like dioxins. In this study the flows of PVC and its additives through the Swedish Society were followed from the cradle to the grave (from production to waste treatment).
