Record aan onderzoekssubsidies binnengehaald
Medewerkers van het Instituut voor Geschiedenis zijn erin geslaagd in 2009 een bedrag van bijna € 3 miljoen aan onderzoekssubsidies binnen te halen. Het is nog niet eerder voorgekomen dat het Instituut zo ruim met externe onderzoeksmiddelen werd bedeeld.
Dit resultaat is een compliment aan al die medewerkers die zich hebben ingespannen om onderzoeksvoorstellen te schrijven en bij financieringsorganisaties in te dienen. De uitkomst van de verschillende subsidierondes toont aan dat het zinvol is om met vaste regelmaat onderzoeksvoorstellen voor te bereiden en de aanvraagdruk op organisaties als NWO hoog te houden.
