Rosanne Baars is NWO-Veni onderzoeker aan het Instituut voor Geschiedenis. Haar project ‘Women, Intelligence, and Diplomacy in Eighteenth-Century Istanbul’ gaat over de rol van lokale vrouwen in de Nederlands-Osmaanse diplomatie in Istanboel in de achttiende eeuw.
