Federico De Musso is universitair docent aan het Instituut voor Culturele Antropologie en Ontwikkelingssociologie van de Universiteit Leiden. Hij is coördinator van de masterspecialisatie Visuele Etnografie. Zijn onderzoeks- en onderwijsinteresses omvatten multimodale antropologie, politieke ecologie en de antropologie van voedsel. Zijn huidige onderzoeksprojecten hebben te maken met ideeën over ecologische en sociale uitputting rond de thema's energieproductie en videogameproductie.
