Voordat ze bij het conflict cooperation lab bij de afdeling Sociaal-Economische en Organisatiepsychologie kwam, voltooide Andrea haar MSc in Neuroeconomics aan de Universiteit Maastricht en een master Public Policy aan de Universiteit van Maryland.
Onderzoek
Andrea is een sociaal neurowetenschapper die geïnteresseerd is in de neurale onderbouwing van inter- en intragroepconflicten. Ze gebruikt zowel gedrags- als fMRI-technieken om vragen te beantwoorden die verband houden met de aard van menselijke samenwerking. Andrea is geïnteresseerd in sociale besluitvorming, hoe onze voorkeuren voor anderen zich ontwikkelen en veranderen afhankelijk van onze omgeving, en hoe deze inzichten kunnen worden toegepast op echte beleidskwesties.
