Lotte Baas graduated cum laude in 2021 with an LL.M. in Civil Law from Leiden University.
From September 2021 to August 2022, she worked as a lecturer at the Department of Civil Law at the Institute of Private Law, Leiden University. Since September 2023, she has been a PhD fellow at the same department. Her research focuses on the structure of creditor ranking under Dutch Law. Lotte teaches several courses in the bachelor program (Introduction to Civil Law, Law of Obligations, Law of Persons, Family Law and Inheritance Law, and Property Law) and supervises bachelor’s and master’s theses.
