Dr. Jann Tosatto is an Assistant Professor in Legal Technology, working at eLaw – Center for Law and Digital Technologies, and the department of Business Studies at Leiden Law School. He holds foundational and advanced degrees in law (LLB, LLM) and computing (BSc, MSc) and a doctorate in business and economics (PhD). He also holds current professional certifications in data privacy (CIPP), AI governance (AIGP), and information security (CISSP).

Jann’s research interests are inherently multidisciplinary, situated at the intersection of law, computing, and business, and encompassing such topics as legal technology, entrepreneurship, technology law, AI, data privacy, information security, crowdfunding, innovation, and technology regulation.
