Jacky Nieuwboer has been active for the Institute for Financial Law as a lecturer of Financial Law since 1 February 2021.
Jacky Nieuwboer has been active for the Institute for Financial Law since 1 February 2021. She studied English language and literature (1975-1980) and graduated in 1988 (part-time) in Financial Law at Leiden University. After that, she was active as a lecturer of English and law, but also as a legislative lawyer/policymaker at the Ministery of Finance and as a lawyer at various institutes which deal with human rights, among which the National Institute for Human Rights. In her latest activities she focused on international education at a university for applied sciences (International Business Law) and at the moment she still reports to the Fundamental Rights Agency in Vienna about the impact of the EU-Charter in the Netherlands. Moreover, she is preparing herself to write a book about deposit protection.
