We construct models at different biological scales: either we focus at the level of individual cells and their interactions (e.g., between immune cells and tumour cells) or at the intracellular level and molecular interactions. We apply these models to in-house generated data, or data created by external collaborators, and these frequently involve time-lapse imaging data. Thus, we aim for a highly interdisciplinary approach in which models make biologically meaningful predictions, for instance with respect to how therapies can be optimized.
