TRI Leiden and EACTP partner in the development of a certification curriculum for turnaround professionals.

European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals

The European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals (EACTP) is an independent organisation set up to establish the first European-wide accreditation programme for all turnaround professionals across the continent. Development of a curriculum

Leiden Law School is working closely with the EACTP to establish the curriculum, and has also agreed to act as a faculty in managing the examination process. Jan Adriaanse, Professor of Turnaround Management in the Business Studies Department at Leiden Law School, who teaches both turnaround students and practitioners, and leads a research team that looks into all aspects of turnaround management and insolvency matters, is very supportive of the EACTP's work to create a professional turnaround management qualification.

The curriculum will be based on TMA Global's internationally recognised and well-established CTP standard, but targeted to its European audience. The web-based curriculum will be available via the TMA Global site. Participants will have the option to self-study from recommended texts or to engage with a course or learning seminars offered by Leiden Law School, or other internationally recognised educational institutions.
