On Wednesday 6 March, eLaw - Center for Law and Digital Technologies will be hosting Professor Margot Kaminski, an eminent scholar from Colorado Law School, for a research morning on her new paper on Participatory Data Governance, co-authored with Dr Gianclaudio Malgieri, Associate Professor at eLaw.

Professor Margot Kaminski

Professor Kaminski is a Professor at the University of Colorado Law School and the Director of the Privacy Initiative at Silicon Flatirons. She specialises in the law of new technologies, focusing on information governance, privacy, and freedom of expression. Recently, her work has examined autonomous systems, including AI, robots and drones. In 2018, she conducted research on comparative data privacy law as a recipient of the Fulbright-Schuman Innovation Grant.

Margot will spend Spring 2024 conducting research at the European University Institute (EUI) as a Fernand Braudel Senior Fellow and recipient of a 2023-24 Fulbright-Schuman Grant. She is also a 2023-24 Faculty Associate of the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University.
