Foreign Minister appoints Joris Larik to international Expert Commission
Joris Larik Assistant Professor of Comparative, EU and International Law at Leiden University College The Hague was appointed as Secretary for a new Expert Commission on Interstate Use of Force and Humanitarian Intervention by the Dutch Foreign Minister.
In this capacity he will conduct research for the Expert Group and help draft a report on this topic that will be handed to the Minister by the end of the year. The Expert Group is chaired by Prof. Cyrille Fijnaut (Tilburg University and KU Leuven) and includes as members, among others, Prof. Larissa van den Herik (Leiden University), Prof. dr. Martii Koskeniemmi (University of Helsinki), Prof. Claus Kreß (University of Cologne), Monika Sie Dhian Ho (Director of the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael) and Prof. Rob de Wijk (Leiden University and Director of The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies).
