Rijpma speaks in Konstanz on Frontex and EASO
On 19 June, Jorrit Rijpma spoke at the international conference on the Constitutional Foundations of EU Migration law at Konstanz University.
The aim of the conference was to discuss the need for lasting solutions in the wake of the migration crisis. Conference convener Professor Daniel Thym brought together scholars from across Europe to engage in a critical debate on overarching themes of EU migration and asylum law. Rijpma focused on the constitutional foundations and complexities of EU agencies external activities. His talk coincided with the launch of the first Frontex border management operation in Albania, a non-EU country.
