LL.M thesis on the "Enlargement of the EU, ASEAN and the EAC in theory and practice"
In June of this year, LL.M student Matthijs de Meer visited the East African Court of Justice for an internship.
Research Internship
Matthijs has written his Master’s thesis on the enlargement of the European Union in comparison with the enlargement of the East African Community and ASEAN. In order to get a complete picture of the enlargement process in theory and practice Matthijs has conducted interviews with people familiar to the matter including the Counsel to the Community.
After completing his internship Matthijs completed his thesis in Leiden and graduated this September.
