Armin Cuyvers lectures on Brexit for Clingendael
On 5 December, Armin Cuyvers gave a lecture on the legal complications surrounding Brexit for Clingendael, the Netherlands Institute for International Relations.
In his lecture, Dr. Cuyvers inter alia addressed the historical background of Article 50 TEU, the legal complications surrounding the process of withdrawal under Article 50 TEU and British constitutional law, the Miller case currently pending before the UK Supreme Court and the possible new relationship between the EU and the UK, including the Norwegian model, the Swiss model, free trade models and the complications surrounding a ‘bespoken deal’.
