Ton Koopman Huizinga Lecture 2016 ‘Bach en zijn zangers’
On December 9, 2016 Prof.dr. Ton Koopman will give a lecture 'Bach en zijn zangers' in the Pieterskerk in Leiden.
In this special edition of the Huizingalezing, Ton Koopman will discuss the Hohe Messe, one of the biggest artworks in the history of music, written by Johann Sebastian Bach.
The youngest generation of international and leading musicians from the Early Music department of the Royal Conservatoire The Hague and The Juilliard School New York will perform together the Hohe Messe in one orchestra, led by Ton Koopman.
