German n-tv visits In Ovo and Thomas Hankemeier

Startup In Ovo received a large investment in October for the further development of a method to determine the sex of chicken eggs, which would save the lives of millions of newly hatched male chicks per year. German TV channel n-tv came to Leiden to film an item about the spin-off company of Leiden University.

n-tv interviewed In Ovo founder and Leiden University alumnus Wouter Bruins, as well as professor of Analytical biosciences Thomas Hankemeier, with whom In Ovo works closely together. Watch the clip on the n-tv website: Neue Methode will Millionen Küken vor Schredder retten.
