Neurolinguistics

Language is supported by highly dynamic brain processes.

In neurolinguistics, we investigate the neural foundations of language using tools such as EEG and fNIRS.

We study how the brain processes speech melody, tone, syntactic structure and meaning, as well as how these processes develop in infancy. By combining behavioural and neural data, we aim to link linguistic theory to the biology of language.
