Huizinga Lecture
Since 1972, the Huizinga Lecture has been organised annually in Leiden. The lecture is named after historian and cultural philosopher Johan Huizinga (1872-1945). The lectures have – in the spirit of Huizinga's work – a cultural-historical or social-critical character by nature.
