Title & Abstract
Present-day discussions about artificial intelligence (AI) and algorithms are often polarized: AI is either the saviour of humankind, or it will bring about humanity’s downfall and demise. However, I will argue that it is neither: it is neither good nor bad nor ugly nor beautiful, BUT it is there to stay. Therefore, we better learn how to engage with it in constructive, sustainable, and inclusive ways. I will therefore talk about how organizing with AI change values and morality? To answer this question, I will question our assumptions about what technology, and therefore AI, actually is; and convince you that AI is performative and has agency. I will end on a positive note and with a call to action, providing practical managerial recommendations.
