We are pleased to announce that Prof. Kathrin Lang will give the next LED3 Talk on June 29th, 2023. Kathrin Lang is Professor of Chemical Biology at ETH Zurich. Her group is best known for the development and application of methods for genetic code expansion in order to incorporate non-canonical amino acids into proteins and, thereby, expand their functions. Highlights of her work include the installation of biorthogonal handles into proteins for further functionalization, the crosslinking of protein complexes to study protein-protein interactions as well as the use of her technologies to make defined ubiquitin conjugates on proteins-of-interest.
