The Master's specialisation in Dutch Politics offers you the perfect opportunity to thoroughly analyse what is really going on, so that you can then use this knowledge to your advantage as a journalist, consultant, party staff member, lobbyist, civil servant, diplomat or councillor. You will be guided by experts in national and local politics.
You will delve into how politics really works, both in “The Hague” and at the local level. We will not only look at formal institutions and political parties, but also at the informal role of lobbyists and journalists and the influence of protests and social movements. The programme also offers ample opportunity to compare the Netherlands with other countries.
