Attend Leiden University’s Online Open Days and discover which programme matches your interests during live sessions. Create your own schedule and sign up for one or more presentations of our more than 80 master’s programmes. Each live presentation consists of approximately 30 minutes of information about the programme, followed by 10 minutes for Q&A. During the presentations, you can use the chat function to ask questions of lecturers, students, and/or study advisers.

Frequently asked questions about the Master's Online Open Days

I haven't received a confirmation mail after registration. What should I do?
No worries! You can submit a request to resend your ticket. Or email them at studielijn@leidenuniv.nl and they will send you the confirmation mail as quickly as possible.

How do I access the sessions of Master's Online Open Days?
After registering, you will immediately receive a confirmation email with an overview of the sessions you have selected. A week before the event you will receive an email with the correct link to these sessions. Only on the day of the event will this link automatically take you to the online Teams session for the Master Online Open Days, where you can attend the live presentations. It is not possible to access the Master Online Open Days Teams sessions before the event.

What device can I best use to visit the Microsoft Teams-sessions?
For the best user experience use a PC or laptop with Google Chrome as browser. Make sure you have the latest version of Chrome and that you have a stable network connection that isn’t being used by others. We advise against using a mobile phone or tablet to watch the program presentations.

What should I do if I can’t see the presentations?
First check that your computer has a stable connection. If you still can’t see any presentations, reopen the link from your confirmation mail. Otherwise contact us via the chat of Unibuddy.
Visitors from certain countries may find that the streaming tool that we are using for the presentations is blocked by their government. In that case, they won’t be able to see the presentations.

Can I watch a presentation that I haven’t registered for?
Yes, you can! Use the link in your confirmation email to go to the overview page with all the presentations. You can attend the live presentations without registering.

Can I watch presentations later?
No, the presentations are not recorded. The only possibility to watch the presentations is during the Master's Online Open Days.

When is the Open Day on campus?
