A Laboratory for the Retrospective Estimation of Environmental Requirements of Products
Abstract
Most durable goods currently on the market never undergoes environmental and circularity assessment, impacting society’s ability to sustainably manage natural resources. To overcome this challenge, we need to build a strong data foundation and digital systems to facilitate estimation, analysis and monitoring for resource management. In this talk, Franco Donati will present the development of a laboratory and scientific tools to ensure fundamental data accessibility to assess the environmental and circularity performance of products.
This work is made possible by the Leiden University Fund, Leiden University Starter Grant and Sectorplan Gelden.
