A busy early summer for the SETinSTONE team at Salamis, Athens, and the Argolid
Riia Timonen is a PhD student in the Faculty of Archaeology at Leiden University. She received her MA from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland and has recently complemented her studies at the University of Helsinki. In addition to studying, Ms. Timonen has participated in various archaeological and geophysical fieldwork projects in Greece, Sicily and Finland. Her current topic of interest is settlement patterns in Late Bronze Age Mycenae. When Ms. Timonen is not working hard to complete her current writing and reading tasks, she enjoys taking long walks in the nature and throwing darts at local pubs.
