Nanou van Iersel
Nanou Van Iersel is a junior researcher at the Van Vollenhoven Institute.
Under the supervision of prof. mr. dr Maartje van der Woude, she contributes to a research project about the portrayal of migrants and migration in political and public debate during Covid-19. In collaboration with artists collective Liquid Society, this research project also explores creative ways of data collection and processing; and, seeks to unite scientific engagement with art. Next to this, she is finishing her master's degree Philosophy of Science, Technology and Society at the University of Twente. Her main research interests include digital technologies, care ethics and social exclusion.
