Title research: The effect of directives in the area of direct taxation on the interpretation and application of tax treaties concluded by the EU Member states.
Employment
From 1 October 2022, Mees Vergouwen is employed by Leiden University as a PhD Fellow for 2 days per week (0.4 fte). He is also employed by De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek for 3 days per week (0.6 fte) since 1 October 2022.
Between 1 September 2017 and 1 October 2022 he was employed by Leiden University for 3 days and De Brauw Balckstone Westbroek for 2 days.
As of April 2023, Mees Vergouwen has been employed by Leiden University as an associate professor for 2 days a week (0.4 fte) . He is also employed by De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek as a tax adviser for 3 days a week (0.6 fte).
Between September 2017 and April 2023, Mees Vergouwen has been employed as a Ph.D Fellow (0.6 fte until 1 October 2022 and 0.4 fte until April 2023) while also having been employed by De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek as a tax adviser (0.4 fte until 1 October 2022 and 0.6 fte until April 2023).
