As coordinator of external collaborations, Mariana engages, supports and strengthens partnerships with external organizations (other universities and research institutions, companies, government organizations, funding agencies, networks, etc.) She coordinates the IBL research support office and focuses on developing collaborative grants proposals and research initiatives. Mariana has extensive experience as project manager with European and Dutch-funded collaborative and personal research projects. Mariana holds a PhD from Leiden university, Faculty of Science.
