Mara works as a psychologist in training to become a GZ psychologist at the Leiden University Treatment and Expertise Centre (LUBEC). LUBEC specializes in diagnosis and treatment of psychological consequences of trauma, and of physical complaints and disorders. In addition, she is also a PhD candidate within the section Clinical Psychology. Under supervision of dr. M.L.J Kullberg, dr. R.A. de Kleine and prof. dr. M. Schoorl, her research focuses on the treatment of PTSD and its relationship with the social context.
