Lisette Pluimgraaff is Institute Secretary of the Board for the Institute for the Interdisciplinary Study of the Law. In this capacity, she supports the Institute’s Scientific Director and the heads of its departments in policy development, decision-making, and the implementation of operational management, including finance, human resources, ICT/digitalization, and facilities management, in close coordination with the various support departments of the faculty and the university.

In addition, she manages the institute’s administrative office, which supports the 6 departments within the institute, and serves as secretary to the Institute Council.

The 6 departments of our institute are:

• eLaw - Center for Law and Digital Technologies
• Jurisprudence
• Legal History
• Moot Court and Advocacy and Leiden law Practices (LLP - coaching of first-year students)
• Philosophy of Law
• Van Vollenhoven Institute for Law, Governance and Society (VVI)
