Linda Breeman’s research career is dedicated to improving vulnerable families’ health and wellbeing. Her professional goal is to aid in developing, testing and optimising care innovations to improve the quality of (mental) health care. She is passionate about working on clinical questions that arise from health care practice and translating these findings into clear and realistic recommendations and applications. Her solid knowledge of research methodology and statistics allows her to use advanced data-analytic approaches to examine the complex processes underlying the problems to be investigated.
Research
Linda Breeman is the research coordinator of the BENEFIT program. BENEFIT is a public-private partnership consisting of medical specialists, academics, entrepreneurs, insurance companies and patients who have joined forces to make healthy living rewarding and to bridge the gap between healthcare and the living environment in a responsible and inspiring way. The resulting BENEFIT program is an ecosystem for healthy living which uses an advanced digital platform that allows access to evidence-based lifestyle interventions, personal coaching, smart technology and an integrated loyalty system that rewards patients for the time and energy spent on healthy lifestyle activities. The BENEFIT program is fuelled by continuous scientific evaluation which benefits patients, public healthcare and private partners alike.
