Jouke Tegelaar graduated from Leiden Law School in 2015. She holds master's degrees (LL.M.) in both civil law and financial law, graduating summa cum laude in financial law. During her master's in civil law, she studied abroad for one semester at UC Hastings College of the Law, San Francisco.
Since September 2015, Jouke has worked as a lecturer at Leiden Law School’s Hazelhoff Centre for Financial Law, where the teaches financial law. Her current research interests include the liability of financial supervisory authorities, state liability and investor protection.
